Bassist Jon Dicken departing the band

After 7 amazing years of playing with Fair To Midland, our bassist Jon Dicken has decided it is time to move on. We appreciate his hard work and dedication to the band, we love him, and wish him the best in all his future endeavors. Moving forward, we are excited to continue touring and making music.

this is bs! but there had to be a reason why he left and i am afraid we will never know. anyhow, it must have been a big decision and quite possibly the biggest of his life. lets hope he turns out ok and i hope ftm finds someone as good as Jon or better.

Really good bassist. I did want to say hello to him at a meet and greet but he was the only member who didn’t really interact with the fans then at least. I didn’t take it personally, it did seem like he was in a sour mood. Best of luck to him.

Oh damnit! I was really, REALLY looking forward to FINALLY getting to see you guys live… I can’t say this is anything but a massive dissapointment, especially since I live in the UK and can’t get out to see your shows in the US.

But… I still love you guys, your music and support you all the way. It’s just a massive shame and I sincerely hope you get another chance to venture over here, in the near or not too distant future.
